Job Description

  • This position is under Boeing Global Services, and is responsible for service growth opportunities in China.
  • In support of BGS Commercial Business Development Northeast Asia Regional Sr. Manager and in collaboration with Sales & Marketing, directly engage customers/ government entities and collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders to deliver robust quantitative and qualitative analysis that frames China-specific market trends, competitive landscape insights and un-met customer requirements/ insights
  • Establish a robust product and services roadmap for China
  • Define new products and services to solve for specific Chinese customer needs and, where applicable, common growth enablers across Business Development
  • Based on customer insight, additionally define any existing gaps within current offerings
  • Collaborate with other Business Development and internal executive stakeholders to align on and formally define a sequential and prioritized product and services development pipeline
  • Finally, manage the process to transition a product across various phases of product development maturity (idea, validate, business plan, market launch)
  • Initial product development profiling
  • Business case development
  • Funding approval and internal capability development
  • Evaluation and execution of partnerships/ inorganic requirements
  • Strategic Marketing framework (including pricing and distribution model)
  • Go-to-market strategy and successful transition of offerings to Sales & Marketing to point of market execution
  • This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll

 

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or above, MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Chinese civil aviation industry or extensive knowledge on airline/MRO businesses and operations in China
  • Strong analytical skills and business mindset. Capable of independently conducting data collection, doing research and developing business plans, white papers and reports for the management
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technological subjects in civil aviation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business ethics, team player, capability to perform and deliver results under pressure
  • Strong English & Mandarin proficiency
  • Able to travel (including international travel) – 40%-50% of work time
