Our client, a multinational education group, is currently looking for a product manager to be part of its New York Team. The product manager will play a key role in building a product team that will be responsible for development and maintenance of the company’s Parent-Teacher Communication App to foster and improve academic performance. As a product manager, you will be part of a passionate team to set product strategy, prioritize features, and lead product development to enable communication among parents, and enhance relationship between educators and parents. The ideal candidate should bring exceptional analytical and creative skills to understand the market needs, set roadmap, and guide the product team to bring great products to life. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop the product roadmap to deliver business goals
  • Define product requirements and provide clarity of product concepts for social product on multiple platforms (iOS, Android, web)  
  • Establish a product team of engineers, designers, and researchers with the support of HR to execute product program Establish formal parent-teacher communication app and cadence for regular communication among parents and two-way feedback
  • Monitor all analytics and perform quantitative analysis of user feedback via data, surveys, and support calls to improve communication process and guide product decisions
  • Clearly communicate the progress and results of A/B testing
  • Support and facilitate the development and full implementation of the App
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics that inform product decisions and continually improve the product

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of product management experience, prior consulting or project management experience preferred
  • Experience in a Higher Education related technology firm preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in product development concepts of social products and multiple platforms (iOS, Android, web)
  • Strong blend of team-building, technical, and creative skills
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills and detail-oriented
  • Ability to effectively manage team members to achieve team initiatives
  • Convey a can-do, positive attitude towards tackling problems
  • Bachelor’s degree
