Sales Manager

Our client is currently seeking a Sales Manager to join their team in Los Angeles. This role will manage and execute the sales strategies as well as other activities. S/he will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned district. S/he should be able to staff and direct a sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. S/he will also establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the territory.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop long-term customer partnerships that result in increased sales and margin growth
  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
  • Lead, manage and motivate the sales workforce to deliver results
  • Identify, plan and manage execution of growth strategies to drive sales and engagement levels in market
  • Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets
  • Collaborate with marketing resources and the executive team to define overall sales strategy, and to develop products and solutions responsive to the customer's business
  • Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales Associates

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food, restaurant or IT services industry
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within the company and assigned accounts
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive a sales team
  • Strong understanding of restaurant and IT industry and market dynamics and requirements
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
