Signal Processing Engineer for Robotics

China's largest retailer is looking for a Signal Processing Engineer for Robotics to join their R&D center in Santa Clara, CA.
Identify effective signal processing solutions for robotic applications in the company, propose and take ownership signal processing development projects
Research and develop leading-edge signal processing technologies for robotics
Hands-on development of core algorithms, systems, and working prototypes
Present results and transfer prototypes and technologies to product and engineering organizations
Drive the technology development road in signal processing of the company
MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
Broad knowledge and deep understanding of signal processing areas
Deep knowledge in one or more technical areas including radar, RFID and ultrasound
Expertise in sensor fusion, filter design and pattern matching.
Extensive hands-on development experience on core algorithm/system in one of the following: object detection, classification, and tracking using radar, ultrasound or RFID; within commercial/industry R&D setting
Strong in math, sharp on coding, experienced with Linux development environment
Passion for solving very complex technical problems with a 'can-do' attitude and creative & critical thinking
Proven records in solving ambiguous and/or under-defined problems
Able to work independently and take initiative
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proven track record in delivering solutions to autonomous driving, drone, and warehouse robotic applications.
Experience with well-known software libraries (Octave, TensorFlow, Caffe, Apach Common Math, Boost, OpenCV, ROS, etc)
Experience of writing production code for commercial end-user applications
Experience of building simulation software for real-world system
Experience of algorithm development for robots
Knowledge and experience with robot hardware and drivers
