Along with providing access to the best teachers, we’ve created an immersive user experience and integrated technology to enhance music instruction and practical assistance. A dynamic student portfolio tracks and records all classes and lessons, so that teachers, parents, and students can monitor progress with analytical tools.

Responsibilities

Discover Melody's music teachers will teach children and adolescents the fundamental principles of instrumental learning and musicianship skills. Teachers will select appropriate music, books and instructional aids to enhance learning. Teachers must possess a positive attitude and demonstrate patience, open-mindedness, professionalism, in addition to demonstrating effective strategies for integrating students into your classroom. Our Ideal Candidate Will PossessMM or DMA graduate in music performance, music theory, or music education

Qualifications

  • Ability to share passion for music and instill excitement for music in students
  • Availability for lessons (can be conducted at home, studios, or similar professional environments)
  • Previous teaching experience preferred
  • Flexibility with students of different ages, levels of knowledge, and learning styles
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Previous online teaching/studying experience preferred
  • Familiarity in ABRSM exam preferred
  • Access to the internet on laptop, iPad, or similar device

Schedule

  • Forty-five-minute lessons are given online with a pre-scheduled time slot during the weekday and/or weekends.
  • Teachers will need to provide his/her availability for the duration of the semester.
