The US-China Aviation Cooperation Program (ACP) is a unique public-private partnership organization works on win-win activities designed to help with China’s aviation development. ACP is an American team committed to promoting safe and smart aviation development in China.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing program planning, coordination, resource planning, and communicating with both U.S. and Chinese government officials and aviation companies for the US-China ACP. This position reports to the ACP Executive Director and works closely with other ACP staff. This is a full-time position which supports ACP's 36 companies.
- This position involves frequent communications and meetings with US aerospace company members and government officials. Communication is conducted in both English and Chinese. Position involves helping ACP leadership develop policy and progrDeveloping and managing relationship and joint programs with Chinese civil aviation authorities
- Assisting ACP committees develop work programs, managing current programs, USTDA grant activities, membership, etc.
- Managing new projects in close coordination with ACP's membership and US government (USTDA, US Embassy, etc.)
- Supporting event planning and event management.
- Supporting other staff members.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Executive Directorams that are win-win for both the US and China in the civil aviation sector.
Requirements
- Seeking candidates that are fluent in English and Mandarin, and command a strong writing ability in both languages. The candidate should have an interest in aviation with a foreign affairs background.
