Job Description:
- Recruiting tutors from different fields of subjects covering US high school and college content. The following subjects are most needed: Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics and Biology
- Analyze the students’ strengths and weaknesses in studying in the subjects
- Conduct “office-hour” sessions online to help students better understand the topic of the day.
- Prepare lesson plans or learning modules according to the students’ needs and goals.
- Review class materials with students on a daily basis, working solutions to problems, reviewing worksheets and homework.
- Respond to students’ questions in a timely manner.
- Communicate students’ progress with parents and Education Coordinators through WeChat, a weekly written progress report is required.
Requirements:
- Studied/Studying in a related major in a US College
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English
- Passion and excitement for the subject being taught
- Personal accountability and reliability when scheduling sessions
- Experience in teaching/tutoring in these subjects is a plus
