We offer access to the world’s finest online art and design education, which includes interactive learning experiences for elementary, middle school, and pre-college students, recreational learners, and senior executives. We utilize the latest user interfaces and online platforms to connect students to remote and physical spaces, and to faculty from the world’s top art and design schools.

 

We’re seeking a dedicated, driven, and passionate Sales Manager to join our team. Someone who is a self-starter that can manage, create and execute sales. Someone who is relationship-oriented with good instincts for finding, developing and securing sales and partners. This person has a proven track record in both independent sales and team leadership, they possess strong leadership qualities with the ability to coach, develop, inspire, and motivate others. This job is focused on selling WeDesign programs in China, the US and around the world. The Sales Manager will report to the Academic Director and CEO and will sell programs directly to students (to-c), along with creating deals for other groups to distribute and sell programs(to-b). The Sales manager will create regular reports on their own markets as well as the progress of other territories.

 

 

Responsibilities:

Manage Devise ways to sell Programs

  • Find ways to promote and sell WeDesign programs to High School kids, undergraduates and working professionals. Whether through deals with school groups, through other organizations or through other means the sales manager will create sales directly

 

Sell Programs

  • The Sales Manager will be expected to create and make sales of WeDesign programs. Ultimately the measure of their success will be the volume of sales that they created, enabled, or actually closed.

 

Develop sales leads

  • Develop relationships to enable other groups to sell programs in domestic and overseas markets. The Sales Manager will work to create relationships with customer groups to enable sales either by local partners or directly from NYC

Qualifications:

  • Must possess general knowledge of sales techniques.
  • 3-5+ years of professional sales experience
  • Ability to project manage sales cycles with internal stakeholders (Learning Solutions, Marketing, Operations)
  • Have the ability to develop leads
  • Have the ability to close sales.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organization skills.
  • Maintain Pipeline to channels and sales partners
  • Build groups and networks for sales
  • Strong team player with a collaborative nature
  • Ability to listen, follow directions and multi-task.
  • Passion for improving education
  • Energetic, Customer Service/Sales Oriented
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Skilled in prospecting, territory planning, and team-selling
  • BA/BS degree
  • Written and verbal Mandarin Chinese is mandatory

 

 

 

  • K12 Educational Sales Experience
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making
